Terms and Conditions oliverde.ch / patriterra Mader

These Terms and Conditions apply to all orders of olive oil placed via the online shop oliverde.ch in Switzerland and Liechtenstein. patriterra offers organic extra virgin olive oil for everyday use in the kitchen, in gastronomy and as a gift.

1. Provider and scope

  • The provider of the online shop is patriterra Mader, Bollstrasse 5, CH-3076 Worb.
  • These Terms and Conditions apply to all orders of oliverde olive oil in the formats 250 ml, 750 ml, 3 L and 5 L via the website oliverde.ch.
  • The offer is aimed at customers in Switzerland and Liechtenstein.

2. Products, origin and everyday use

  • Under the brand oliverde, organic extra virgin olive oil from Italy is offered, suitable for everyday use in the kitchen.
  • The olive oil goes well with vegetables, pasta, salads, for cooking, finishing and simply with bread – intended for daily use, not only for special occasions.
  • As olive oil is a natural product, vintages, colour and taste may vary slightly.

3. Prices, VAT and shipping costs

  • All prices are stated in Swiss francs (CHF) and include statutory value added tax.
  • The current prices for the different packaging sizes and the shipping costs are shown in the online shop before the order is completed.
  • Promotional prices or discounts are limited in time and indicated in the shop.

4. Ordering process and conclusion of contract

  • Orders for olive oil are placed via the shopping cart on oliverde.ch.
  • Before submitting the order, the delivery address, products and quantities can be checked and adjusted.
  • The purchase contract is concluded as soon as an order confirmation is sent by e-mail.

5. Payment methods

  • The payment methods displayed in the order process (e.g. credit card, Twint or prepayment) are accepted.
  • As a rule, delivery is made only after successful receipt of payment.
  • Any fees charged by payment providers are shown during the ordering process.

6. Delivery and delivery times

  • Delivery of the olive oil is made to addresses in Switzerland and Liechtenstein.
  • Unless otherwise stated, the delivery time is usually 2–5 working days after receipt of payment.
  • If a product is temporarily unavailable or if delivery is delayed, information will be provided by e-mail; payments already made for undeliverable items will be refunded.

7. Inspection of goods and complaints

  • After receipt of the shipment, the delivery should be checked immediately, in particular for transport damage or incorrect products.
  • Damage or discrepancies should be reported as soon as possible, at the latest within 5 days of receipt, by e-mail.
  • A suitable solution will be sought together, such as a replacement delivery or refund for the affected unit.

8. Returns and withdrawal for food products

  • Olive oil is a food product; returns without defect are therefore generally not possible.
  • In the event of quality defects or incorrect delivery, it can be checked whether a replacement or refund will be granted.
  • Returns are only accepted after prior agreement.

9. Data protection

  • Personal data is treated confidentially and used only to process orders for olive oil.
  • For shipping and payment, only the data necessary for processing is passed on to service partners.
  • Details on data handling can be found in the separate privacy policy.

10. Liability

  • patriterra Mader works with care to ensure consistent quality of the olive oil and safe delivery.
  • Liability exists only for damage caused by intentional or grossly negligent behaviour; further claims are excluded to the extent permitted by law.
  • No liability is assumed for improper storage or use of the olive oil by customers.

11. Olive oil as gifts for employees and customers

  • oliverde olive oil can be ordered as a gift for employees or customers in all available packaging sizes.
  • For corporate gifts, individual delivery or invoicing arrangements can be agreed on request.
  • For larger order quantities, early contact is recommended so that availability and delivery dates can be coordinated.

12. Applicable law and place of jurisdiction

  • All contractual relationships are subject to Swiss law.
  • The place of jurisdiction is Bern, unless mandatory statutory provisions provide otherwise.
